Posted by admin on 24 February 2009

Many of the communications that we have with our partners will go down better if you can help your message go down easier. Forget for now how much they might have annoyed you in the past. The past does not matter as the joy and magic of making up with someone. Keep reading to learn how to do it.

Just alike medicine tastes a lot better if it’s coated with something that’s sweet, your criticism of your partner will sound a lot, lot better when it’s coated with sincere praise.

When you give your partner a compliment before you make a critical comment, it’s going to help you sweeten your words and persuade them to listen to what you have to say. They will also value your opinion more.

Do you think this method of creating harmony between you and your loved one is a little “heavy”? It’s not really when you think about it. The reason is, your compliments that you give should always be truthful ones. There are lots of nice things you could say to your loved one every day but maybe you haven’t done this because you didn’t realize how powerful your words are and how much positive impact they are going to have? That’s OK because we live and learn.

What normally tends to happen is that we keep our praise for those extraordinary accomplishments. Even worse, some people in relationships NEVER at all just because they think that their loved one is already conscious of what they’re doing well.

Do you make this mistake in your relationship?

It’s a relationship killer to only focus on what your partner has done wrong.

Now you know, what one thing can you say or do today to make your relationship better?

Now go and do it.

Show Some Tenderness To Get Your Lover Back

Posted by Magic of Making Up on 23 February 2009

To get lover back you may have to try a little tenderness if the relationship ended with an explosion. Maybe the end of the marriage or the relationship resulted in a lot of hurt feelings and fights that resulted in some emotional pain. It could be there was something tragic that happened that caused the breakup. There may have been some wrong committed that caused humiliation for either party. Whatever the case, feelings were and probably still are hurt and if you want to get lover back, you will have to work gently and try to help heal the wounds that are there.

To get lover back you may have to take a close look at both yourself and them. There may be some things about you and the way that you are likely to handle the situation that could make matters worse. It could be things that you don’t realize. There could also be some things that the one you love are struggling with that may have made them a little fragile. Even though they may not seem like big deals to you, for some reason they are to them.

Before you make any attempts at reconciliation, take a good look at yourself. It may mean that you have to go seek not only relationship advice but trying to get help on finding areas for improvement that you have. You have to be open to criticisms and accept that they may be right. You have to ask someone, “What are the best things for me to work on so that I can get ex back?” Be ready for any reaction you might get. Will it bother you to hear those things? Maybe, but it will do you good and will help you to get lover back. Take the advice seriously and learn to be more sensitive.

Whatever the person you love may be feeling, it is real to them. Understand that they have something that is deeply troubling them and come to them softly and tenderly. When they get upset, don’t react. Fighting back or getting emotional won’t do anything to help you get ex back. It will only drive you apart. You have to learn how to nurture them and help them heal. You will also have to give them the time and space that they need. The tenderest touch that someone can get isn’t physical at all. It comes with a sense that you understand and that you are there for them.

There is a time for knocking some sense into someone but there is also a time for showing some tenderness and compassion. Know when those moments are and try to find the best way to act in them. True love will often require you to act and respond to things that don’t seem natural to you. If the relationship is important, you will make those adjustments. Tenderness may not come to you naturally but one way or another, you will probably have to learn how if you want to get lover back.

How can you tell if you are in a toxic relationship? Here are some clues:

3 Things You Can Do About Unhappy Relationships

Posted by Magic of Making Up on 22 February 2009

Unhappy relationships are an inevitable part of romance, and their causes are numerous. Sometimes, a commitment is made and that once made, it can be hard to leave an unhappy situation. You may feel that you have to stay in order to support your loved ones, that you are unable to leave for any number of reasons. You find that you are making a number of excuses to stay in a situation that is not good for you.

If you are facing an unhappy relationship, then there are three things you need to do. Firstly, you can do nothing and maintain things just as they are. You will continue on your path of misery, those around you will become miserable, and you will continue along this path until you are in the worst of situations. So why does this situation occur? It is the simplest thing to do. It is easy to not do anything about the situation, and very hard to turn a bad partnership or unhappy relationship around. While it may seem noble, it is a bad decision to try and stay.

Out of the three, the other option which involves staying in the relationship is to fix things. This step requires a full commitment, anything less is as bad, if not worse, than trying to stick things out. This step requires that your partner is also committed in full to repair of the situation. This is the most challenging of the situations, but can lead to the best situation. Any changes made here will be lasting and permanent. If your partner is not committed towards the repair of the unhappy relationship, then all attempts to repair things will fail.

The last possibility is to leave. This is also very hard since people will make excuses in order to stay. Sometimes, however, it is a matter of ending the relationship before things become irreparable. Unhappiness, fighting, depression, and many other factors eventually come out of an unhappy relationship. This will not only bring you and your loved ones great suffering, but it will also negatively affect those around you are well. You have to overcome everything that is holding you back and take that first step towards resolving the matter.

If you need one, you should seek out the aide from a therapist or a coach. Mental hindrances in an unhappy relationship can be taken care of with the help of a therapist. If you need to work strategies for repairing your situation, then you should instead get a coach, someone who will work with you to develop strategies and get the success you need.

An unhappy relationship will mean one of three possibilities. You will either stay or suffer, you will repair things with your ex, or you will move out and move on. Therapists and coaches provide technical support while your family and friends will provide you with the support network you need when you make. All it takes is an effort to do what is right for you and your loved ones.

There are things that you can learn and use to try an get your ex back, but it will take work and time. Here are five such things to know about.

First, you have to let go of all of the pain and move on. This is a difficult step, but you should instead try and think about the fact that letting go will bring them closer to you. This is not to say that you should shut everything out. You need to experience these feelings in order to move on, but you cannot spend too much time on them, otherwise you will hinder your own progress. Tell yourself that moving on is how to get my ex back and it will be easier to do so.

Once you have left the feelings behind you, you should figure out why it happened. What you should be thinking is that how to get back my ex involves knowing why we broke up. An important step in the healing process is to extend each other a break. Separation is required in order to get back to a point where the two of you can move on and do what is needed to set things right. Those who spend time with no contact among each other are most likely to get past the breakup and get back together.

You should also spend the time to call upon the support of those around you. Ask others what they think in terms of “how to get back my ex?” This can include your parents, siblings, friends and more. Not only can these individuals provide support for you as you experience the emotional turmoil of a break up, but they can also act as your calm head, your sensibility, and they can mediate things between you and your ex.

Once you each have your support networks, you should come back together. A meet up is the final step in the process of getting back together. You should proceed slowly, first by emails and text messages. Keep your tone friendly, for any sign of moving forward too quickly can be detrimental. Enter into the meet up with a game plan, so that you do not get hurt. Prepare to suck it in and apologize for yourself, and not expect the same. The point is to rekindle the romance, and this is the step where you will see if it is possible to know “how to get back my ex.” Following these steps will make for the best chance, but be prepared to accept staying separated.

How To Get Back With Your Ex Girlfriend

Posted by admin on 21 February 2009

If you are wondering how you can get back with your ex girlfriend, the first thing that you need to understand is that this is a very delicate situation. Your feelings may be hurt, and her feelings may also be hurt – And it is important that you are careful about what you’re doing accordingly, otherwise feelings may be hurt even worse.

Here are the considerations that you need to make when it comes to figuring out how to get back with your ex girlfriend.

1 – First and foremost, what was it that you did in order to cause the break up? Girls do not break up with guys completely out of the blue, so there is probably a really good reason behind the action even if you are not immediately aware of what it is. The first step in this process has to be to figure out what went wrong, whether or not it could have been prevented, and how can you can fix it now that you know what it is.

2 – If the break up with your ex girlfriend was entirely your fault, then the first thing that you need to do to help rekindle things is to let your ex girlfriend know that you recognize what happened, you recognize that it was your fault, and that you are sorry for your actions and the unintended consequences.

3 – You should continue to socialize with other people, even though you are trying to court your ex again. Just because you and your ex are not in contact right now, that does not mean that you need to cut yourself off from the rest of the world. You should date another girl, or at least go out and have some fun with your friends. It may even work to your advantage for you to cause some jealousy in your ex partner if you really do want to get them back.

4 – Show your ex that you have moved on, but you also need to show her that you still care about her. This is the most ideal way to eventually get her back. Let her know that you have not completely moved on, and that you still have feelings for her, and this will make you appear more mature to her, and more desirable as well.

5 – Finally, it is important that you work hard to become friends with your ex again. This will build trust, and will help to make you closer to one another.

Afterwards, you should ask her why you broke up in the first place, but be casual about it rather than appearing desperate. She will either admit that it was a mistake that the two of you broke up, or she will let you know that the break up was for the better. Once you have an answer, you can proceed from there.

These are just the beginning steps in winning your Ex back. They are the initial steps I followed when I lost the love of my life. And frankly these aren’t my original ideas. I turned to T ‘Dub’ Jackson when I had no idea of how to get my true love back.

T ‘Dub’ authored a simple, down to earth step by step plan called The Magic of Making Up. And you know, it worked like magic for us. Now we are more in love than ever.

Surviving a difficult breakup

Posted by Magic of Making Up on 20 February 2009

A breakup is a difficult thing to deal with, and it is hard on you and your ex. There are a great number of hurt emotions and feelings, and the act of surviving a breakup will involve a great deal of personal strength. This task may seem daunting, especially with a big void in your chest. You cannot easily fill that void with anything, it is that painful and difficult to handle. What you should consider, however, is that you are not the first couple to break up and you will not be the last. You should take solace in that you and your partner will survive and will be moving forward.

When you are faced with the task of trying to surviving a breakup, there are a number of tips which will lead you towards surviving the breakup. The first step is to not bottle up the pain. One cannot go through life without pain. Breaking up with a loved one is emotionally the same as the death of one. You should know that you will be hurt and that it is okay to break down a little and cry as needed. You should write down stuff, you should scream, you should do whatever is needed to let all of the pain out and move on.

Once you have reached a clear and calm state, you are now ready to evaluate things and try and find out where you and your partner are in the relationship. Knowing where you are will allow you and yours to make the right decision. More times than not, you will find that the relationship is truly over. This is something that you and your ex partner needs to come to terms with. Once you are at terms with things, you take the next step.

When you have come to the decision not to let the relationship continue, you and your ex needs to remove the overlaps in your lives. This includes property that you two have exchanged and are left at the other’s home. This sort of negotiation and separation is to ensure that nothing is left as an emotional landmine later on in your lives. Once the two of you have completely separated, then what you should do is to perform a finalizing ritual. This is a symbolic event which will involve letting an effigy of your ex go, via destroying it or some other task. You could burn one of their letters, their photo, throw away their leftovers, and delete their files off your computer and so on. This symbolic gesture is for your benefit.

At this point, you should use whatever support that is available to you. This can be friends, family, and other loved ones that can provide an emotional support net for you.  Even though you have done what you can to soften the blow of the break up, you will still face turbulence. As a result you will need all of the help you can get as you are surviving a breakup.

Moving On When The Break Up Is Over

Posted by admin on 20 February 2009

Sometimes moving on (break up, loss or other major change) is difficult. It’s rarely easy unless you’re so glad to get out of a situation that you can’t wait to make changes and move on. A break up disrupts your whole life. Everything you do and see seems to remind you of your ex. If you had many mutual friends, even going out to keep from going stir crazy can be difficult.

One of the biggest hurdles you have to face when you’re ready to move on is your family and friends. If your ex was popular with your family, you’re going to get tired of questions about the situation. You must explain to them that you’re moving on, break up is over, and that you don’t appreciate constantly being reminded of your ex and the past relationship.

Sometimes this is difficult for family to deal with. They want to keep bringing up the person in the hopes that you’ll get back together. You can just explain, “Moving on, break up is over, that’s that.” Eventually they’ll come around because they’re your family and they love you. It’s probably going to be harder to deal with when it comes to your friends.

If you didn’t have many mutual friends, then it should be less of a problem. But if the two of you often hung out with the same group of people, then you going alone to be with those friends is going to seem strange to everyone for a while. And then there’s the problem of your ex wanting to hang out with the friends, too. You might even run into each other as you each attempt to hang out with your mutual friends. This doesn’t mean that it’s necessary when you’re moving on break up with your friends. It’s just simply going to be more difficult to maintain some of those friendships once the relationship is over.

As difficult as it seems, when you say, “Moving on, break up is history,” you may have to give up some of those friendships. You and your ex may each have to keep in touch with only certain friends in your group of mutual friends. Just try to maintain good contact and relationships with those you’re closest to and allow your ex to do the same with the others. While this can be painful, it’s probably easiest on everyone because they don’t have to choose which of you to be loyal to and which to avoid.

Sometimes the “moving on break up” period is just too difficult when you’re surrounded by mutual friends and so many places to go together. If possible, go on a vacation to get away from the same scenery and people. Take a vacation with a friend who isn’t involved in the situation; maybe a friend of yours who wasn’t friends with your ex. This can help you get some perspective. Once you’ve declared, “moving on; break up over” then if you can take some time away it can help you a great deal.

I Drove Him Away – How To Get My Boyfriend Back

Posted by Magic of Making Up on 19 February 2009

One of the questions that you may ask yourself is how to get my boyfriend back. The practice of dating is full of ups and downs, and most of the downs are the result of a misunderstanding. So when you are trying to figure out what went wrong, here are some clues as to where men get the wrong message and end up backing off.

Many men back off for a reason that seems counter intuitive. By trying too hard to please the guy, serving his every need, in the end you are selling yourself as a doormat in his eyes. The idea is to be respectful with who you are, and how you sell yourself. That is not to say you should be dominant, but that you should say that being someone who is respectable is how to get my boyfriend back. Men do like to be treated well at times, but they want women who can standup for themselves.

Another thing that will send them away is to talk about your ex’s. Men are competing when they are dating. They are thinking of the other men who are potential competitors to their efforts, so when you mention other men in your life you are giving them something to compare against. Again, this is not to say you should not say anything. Background and personal history is important. Knowing that you dated one man throughout high school and college is important. Telling your date that he is a football player with 20 awards, his game stats, where his tattoos are, etc. is too much. Focusing on one ex will sell the idea that either you still have feelings for him, or if it is all negative, you will cause your date to over analyze themselves.

Business like behavior, or conversely being too promiscuous, will work against you. The general ideal is a lady like or feminine behavior. Too much on the skin side can work against you, but being boyish will also push away prospects. You should be feminine, conservative, and someone who is not cheap or intimidating.

Pressuring him is another turn off. This includes trying to get him to define his role and analyze who he is and how he feels. Men tend not to like having their feelings challenged, and if he has an idea that is proven wrong, then it can send him packing.

Another thing to send him packing is to try and change him. You can’t. Men think that being steady means that you want him for him, so trying to change him is going to tell him he has a serious problem. Even if he does not have a problem, trying to change him will challenge his feelings and strip him of who he is. Let him be him. If you need something else, find someone else.

No one is perfect, and no relationship is perfect; but when you are trying to figure out how to get my boyfriend back, these are steps to make sure you do not scare him off.

How To Get Your Ex Girlfriend Back In Five Simple Steps

Posted by admin on 19 February 2009

If you really want to learn how to get your ex girlfriend back, there are a number of steps that you can follow to have more success than if you just wing it and hope for the best. Breakups happen, but they do not necessarily have to be forever. Here are five steps that will allow you to subtlety let your ex girlfriend know that you’re still interested in being a fixture in her life, so that you can potentially rekindle things in the right away.

5 – If you want to learn how to get your ex girlfriend back, start by reaching out and touching her. Playing too hard to get is not the best way to approach this, though communication should be scaled back. Reach out to her and let her know subtlety that you are still interested in being a part of her life.

4 – Drop her an e-mail to keep in touch. If you do not find casual, easy going methods of communication with your ex, you will never be able to get her back. Staying in touch is absolutely vital, but keep it to casual messages like “Hey, what’s up?” rather than overwhelming her inbox with love poetry.

3 – If you want to learn how to get your ex girlfriend back, stay away from other girls. Sure, she may be understanding enough to let it slide if you begin to peruse other “prospects”, but if you want to get your girlfriend back, stay away from other ladies.

2 – Remember the important things. Part of learning how to get your ex girlfriend back means treating your girl like a princess. One of the easiest ways to do this is to show her that you care by remembering the most important anniversaries and dates in her life. Send her a card on her birthday, and let her know you’re thinking about her in a harmless and positive way.

1 – Call and text, but use discretion when reaching out to her. You should not be afraid to send your ex girlfriend a text message, or drop her a line here and there. Uncertainty is something that should be avoided in life and love, so call her up and let her know what’s going on so that she knows where you are and what you’re doing, and doesn’t have to imagine that you’re out having fun without her, or with another woman. Let her know you care, and that you still think about her. If she knows she’s still in your thoughts so frequently, it will contribute heavily to how quickly she will want to rekindle things with you.

There is no exact process or science to the process of learning how to get your ex girlfriend back, but there are some pretty clear cut suggestions out there that will steer you in the right direction. Obviously maintaining contact and communication is absolutely vital to the rekindling process, but do not over do it, otherwise you may scare her away.
