Why do you want your ex boyfriend back in your life? It’s an important question. If you don’t have the right reasons for trying to get him back, then you should let life go on, taking a different direction.

There are many great reasons to rekindle a broken relationship. If that relationship was full of great potential, rewarding, and fulfilling to you, it’s hard to let it go. That’s particularly true when you’re absolutely certain that both of you were (or are)very much in love with each other.

Sometimes great relationships fall apart. When they’re worth saving, this is when taking action makes sense. If your motivation is love and a believe in your relationship’s value, then get him back.

Sadly, there are some cases when women opt to pursue ex boyfriends for the wrong reasons. If you think you might be considering going after your man the wrong reasons, you might want to reconsider.

These bad justifications include wanting a guy back for your convenience. There’s a sense of peace that comes with having someone in your life,but this peace does not justify you messing with his mind and heart or missing out on your opportunity for real love.

Other bad justifications are even easier to spot. If you feel as though you’re motivated by anger, jealousy or a sense of revenge, this would be a good time to take a few steps back think again about the decision to try to get him back. These are not strong motives and they can lead to making you do things you’ll end up regretting in the future.

Take a good look at the motives behind wanting that relationship back. Are you interested in rebuilding your relationship for all of the right reasons, or are your motivations a little murkier? If you aren’t sure your heart is guiding you because you two were meant to be, then stop your efforts before you try reconciling with your boyfriend.

It’s always going to be difficult to just walk away after breaking up, but it doesn’t make it the wrong thing to do. There are legitimate reasons to call it quits and in some cases, your instincts to get your boyfriend back may have the wrong motives behind it. Don’t waste his time or yours if you are not doing all this for good reasons.
